HKBU students shine at National Student (Youth) Games

Four HKBU students claimed four bronze medals at the 1st National Student (Youth) Games held in Guangxi in November.
 

Yan Nuo, a Year 5 student of the Physical Education and Recreation Management programme (PERM), won a bronze medal in the Women’s Singles Shuttlecock (University Group) event, while Lam Yuen-ping, a Year 3 PERM student, won a bronze medal in the Women’s Doubles Shuttlecock (University Group) event.


Law Tsz-hin, a Year 4 PERM student, took home the bronze medal in the Men’s 4x100 Medley Relay (University Group A) event while Sum Ka-lok, a Year 3 student of the Applied Biology programme, won a bronze medal in the Men’s 1500m Freestyle (University Group A) event.


Held from 5 to 15 November 2023, the Games was jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, the General Administration of Sport of China, and the Communist Youth League of China, and undertaken by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
